Wappulounas strikes again at the spring of Ruka!

The best well-known Finnish snow- boarding event carries it’s tradition at Ruka hill from saturday 28th till monday 30th of April. It gathers the Finnish snowboarding scene to take the best out of the last days of the season with great riding combined with unforgettable parties.

History of the event goes back to the early 90’s as a group of friends started a spring event to end their season together . The main reason was to have fun and ride creative obstacles. And that’s what Wappulounas is basically about – having fun – and to secure fun riding, it brings the most weird and creative obstacles to slopes, event format that is free of rules and very easy going athmosphere.

Even though the main focus of Wappulounas is still in snowboarding, it has grown into the most desired spring festival combining snow, skate, surf and live music together with a mellow athmosphere which is familiar to all who have experienced it.
